I breed African Cichlids and mainly sell fry but am now offering the opportunity to buy sexed colonies of good quality breeding stock. Please note that I’m not like a fish shop as I always have the fish caught and ready for pick-up when the buyer arrives.

F1 Burundi Frontosa (the have not bred yet, but wouldn’t be far off as they are over 1.5 years old)
I currently have some very nice, larger Burundi Frontosa available as a one-off. These were selected from several batches of fry from my wild caught breeders and grown out to establish a new colony.
Frontosa are often referred to as the king of African Cichlids and Burundi’s get the biggest humps. They can live a lot longer than most Cichlids and really do develop a bit of a personality.
The photos are of the proud daddy and one of the mums. Stunning as fry and they only get better with time. Import certificates of origin available for viewing..

Haplochromis "Ptyochromis" sp. "Hippo Point Salmon"
This is a very very rare and stunning African Cichlid. I managed to get my hands on a few of these active gems and am now offering to sell 5 to someone else who would appreciate such a rare fish and want to get into breeding them to improve their availability in Australia. Elongatus Mpanga
Great quality Mpanga, most likely 3-4 males and 6-7 females. Good size colony of 10. These fish breed early so they are at a good size at about 60-90mm. A stunning and very popular fish as both males and females have nice colours. Breeding.......... $120 for the 10.

About 3-4 males and 6-7 females. Sizes are about 60-100mm. A great looking and very popular fish. Hongis are quite hardy and easy to breed. $110 for the 10.

Lombardoi
Looks like 3 males and 7 females. Sizes are about 60-90mm. A great looking and popular fish. Lombardoi are quite hardy and easy to breed. All Lombardoi have the female blue stripe colours when young, then the males gradually turn bright yellow at around 70mm. The fry are good sellers as they have stunning colours even at 30mm. $110 for the 10.

4 males and 6 females. Sizes are about 70-100mm. A rare, great looking and fish that's great for display and very worthwhile breeding. Both males and females have nice and contrasting colours. The fry have stunning colours even at 30mm. $130 for the 10.

Black Bar Red Top Zebra
Not that many of these around now. Looks like around 4 males and 8 females. Young colony that has just started breeding. Sizes are about 60-90mm. A nice looking fish that is quite hardy and breed well. $130 for the 12.

Fossochromis Rostratus
A nice young breeding colony of a rarer fish! Looks like a fantastic ratio of 1 male and 6 females. Sizes are about 120-200mm. A stunning and very interesting cichlid, it's also quite a rare fish, so they are very worthwhile to breed.
